These carbide burs are favorites because of special properties.  Carbide is the fastest bur on nail and lasts the longest.  Click here for Bur Selection.   Carbide burs can grind acrylic and nail polish and do not clog up as much as diamond burs do.  These burs can be cleaned with a steel wire brush.

The 424SGX060 is a very coarse bur with cross cut grooves that remain clean even while debriding mycotic nails.  It works with dry or wet nails.  It needs a steady hand and a light touch until you are used to it.  The cutting edge is straight so you know exactly how deep you grind in the center of the nail.  The SuperCoarse burs are sometimes used to debride callus.  The X and GX coarseness are much safer.

The 425X is a rounded bur.  It cuts a little deeper in the center.

The 429X has a longer cutting edge than the 424X bur.  It is the most used carbide bur.

The 433X   will thin down a nail from underneath the front of the nail and cut away an incurvated nail.

The bristle bur is really fast on thick callus.  The bur consists of little pins of carbide that rip callus efficiently but this bur will pull.  Therefore you need to have good finger control of the bur.  Because the pins are all in one row you can clean this bur easily with a wire brush.

32119 is the order number of this bristle bur.
